Amazon Prime Video announced today that it partnered with Martin Solveig & the advertising agency HEREZIE to create a new nocturnal version of his famous video for the worldwide hit Hello, to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the song and highlight the arrival of Prime Video’s exclusive night sessions as part of the Roland-Garros tournament. Video is available to watch here.

For the first time in Roland-Garros’ history, matches will be played at night on the Philippe-Chatrier court, from May 31st until June 9th. These night sessions will be the best match-ups of the day, and available exclusively on Prime Video in France. Hello’s critically-acclaimed music video has been reworked for the occasion, celebrating the arrival of these unique nocturnal matches and with a surprising list.

After his loss to superstar DJ and tennis enthusiast Bob Sinclar in the original video, Martin comes back at Roland Garros for the first ‘night session’. This time, he faces one of the world’s best players: Stan Wawrinka in a new light-hearted 5-setter “thriller”. Much like the original video, this Hello vide remake includes several cameos from other celebrities including Bob Sinclar (as the only spectator of the game), famous YouTubers McFly & Carlito (as the referees), Lucas Pouille (as himself) and Prime Video Roland-Garros’ host and journalist Thibault le Rol (as a sport presenter).

Roland-Garros’ coverage begins on Prime Video from 30th May through to the men’s final on 13th June, with the first night session taking place on 31st May. Prime Video’s coverage will include the exclusive live broadcast of night session matches starting at 9 pm CEST every evening, featuring the best match of the day. In addition to the live match coverage, Prime members will be able to watch a pre and post-night session show each match-day. Prime members will also enjoy exclusive daily coverage of all matches played on the Simonne-Mathieu court and live coverage of Men’s and Women’s Singles and Doubles Semi-Finals and Finals, as well as daily highlights of all the action throughout the tournament.

The clip will be launched on the YouTube channel of Prime Video and Martin Solveig and displayed on all major music video channels in France. It will be supported by a hashtag challenge on TikTok, in order to replicate one of Martin’s celebration dance present in the clip.

Roland-Garros joins a broad selection of French Amazon Original shows and movies including recent hits Connectés, Brutus vs César and Forte, as well as thousands of TV shows and movies in the Prime Video catalogue in France, such as award-winning and critically-acclaimed global Amazon Original series The Boys, Hunters, Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan, Homecoming, Good Omens, Star Trek: Picard, Carnival Row, The Grand Tour, American Gods, Modern Love and The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel as well as the local Amazon Original series Brut Generation, Love Island, True Story and fan-favourite international movies such as Borat: Subsequent Movie film, After We Collided, Bloodshot, Pinocchio and the latest one-man shows of Norman, Jérôme Commandeur, Alban Ivanov, Fabrice Eboué, Ary Abittan, Franck Dubosc and others, all available on Prime Video at no extra cost for Amazon Prime members.

Prime members will be able to watch Roland-Garros anywhere and anytime on the Prime Video app for compatible smart TVs, mobile devices, Fire TV, Fire TV stick, Fire tablets, Apple TV and stream online on primevideo.com and on Bouygues Bbox Miami and BBox 4K, Freebox Delta, One, Mini 4K, POP, Revolution, La Box SFR Fibre, SFR Box Plus, SFR Box 8 and Orange STB 4 & 5 as well as Orange TV USB stick. Prime Video is available in France at no extra cost to a Prime membership for just 49€/year (or 5.99€/month). New customers can find out more at http://www.amazon.fr/prime and subscribe to a free 30-day trial.

The video for "Hello" the song climbed to the top of dance charts around the world 10 years ago. Fans of the video will remember it was set at the French Open in a match pitting Martin Solveig against fellow DJ Bob Sinclar. Like the original version, in Hello (Night Sessions), Martin is on the courts at Roland Garros (French Open), but this time he's up against Stan Wawrinka, and this time it's a night game. The film, which was heavily teased on social media over the last few days, promotes Amazon Prime Video's live streaming of the upcoming French Open's nightly sessions.
