The Eiffel Tower is one of the most famous buildings in France and around the world. Because of this, Dassault Systemes and the Wunderman Thompson France agency brought together experts to show that infrastructure and urban planning can effectively solve environmental problems. The professionals' job was to rethink Gustave Eiffel's design from the 1800s and make it work for today.

The goal was to find digital ways to make the Eiffel Tower not only one of the most famous landmarks in the world but also a symbol of sustainability and modernity. This ambitious campaign has turned the Eiffel Tower into a modern and environmentally friendly building. This was done to help solve one of the most critical problems of our time: how to make cities more sustainable.

This challenge is part of the "Building Tomorrow" series. Throughout six episodes, professionals use modern technology to add features like decarbonization, sustainable production, clean energy consumption, and the circular economy to promote sustainable urban planning and construction practices.

The "Building Tomorrow" campaign is a documentary with six parts that show how powerful Dassault Systèmes' collaborative platform, 3DEXPERIENCE, is. A platform that tries to solve problems of the future with solutions from today. Thanks to the platform, professionals can work with a virtual "clone" that lets them try out all the options before putting them into action in the real world.

The documentary is for people who work in the field. It tells the story of how the idea came to be and how it was made in six episodes. The goal is to show that it is possible to solve the problems and challenges of the future.

Thompson France made a final visualization of the model for the Wunderman campaign that shows the similarities and differences between the proposals from yesterday and today by putting it next to the Eiffel Tower as it is now. CEO of Wunderman Thompson France Vincent Druguet said, "The 3DEXPERIENCE platform can't be explained; it has to be seen. We had to show how it worked. We wanted to test how the platform works with a real-world example, and what better example than one of the most famous landmarks in the world?"

Florence Verzelen, executive vice president of Industry, Marketing, and Sustainability at Dassault Systèmes, said that the "Building Tomorrow" program exemplifies the company's goal to support sustainable innovation. "We want to provide solutions that empower the ecosystem of innovators to build a more sustainable future," she said.
