We've become a nation of abundance. Our grocery stores are overflowing with produce, our fridges are stuffed to capacity. Yet, amidst this plenty, millions of Americans are going hungry. It's a cruel irony that's begging for a solution.
City Harvest is on a mission to bridge this gap. Their "Feed New York" campaign is a bold, brilliant idea: donate fresh produce at the point of purchase. It's simple, it's effective, and it's a game-changer. By diverting perfectly good food from the trash to the tables of those in need, we're not just reducing waste; we're building a more compassionate community.

Synopsis: 40% of the groceries in American households go to waste. That means, for each box of strawberries, nearly half of it ends up in the dumpster. In New York, 1 in 5 kids live in food-insecure families. This campaign aims to stop food waste and create a new avenue for food donation by encouraging shoppers to donate produce while it's still fresh- right when they bought it! This way, shoppers are not only reducing food waste but also providing fresh produce to those in need.
