Samsung: "Samsung Firevase" by Cheil

Today in South Korea occur more than 10,000 domestic fires each year. To counter this situation, which has become a major problem, a recent law aimed at equipping fireplaces with fire extinguishers has been promulgated by the government. Despite the guidelines put in place, more than half of the population still does not use them. Worse, the equipped Koreans do it mostly to give themselves a good conscience and generally put their equipment in hard-to-reach places, until they totally forget their existence.

Attached to this problem, the subsidiary of Samsung specializing in insurance, Samsung Fire & Marine Insurance, asked a simple question: "How to change the situation by making fire extinguishers easy to use, accessible or at your fingertips? "The solution is simple, and it's called Firevase .

Certified by the " Korea Fire Institute ", thousands of Firevase have been distributed in the country. As a result, 81% of the population is now more aware of the need for a fire extinguisher, and 8% of homes have recently been equipped across Korea.
