Burger King "QR Code" Free Whopper

Burger King Brazil has approved an interactive campaign that allows its consumers to win a free Whopper. The campaign offers a free Whopper if you can capture the moving QR code.

Co-produced with creative agency David Sao Paulo, the ad shows an animated QR code revolving around the television screen. The brand invites consumers to participate in the campaign, saying If you are fast enough to catch and scan the QR code while watching TV, you can win a free hamburger.

Unfortunately, while the QR code can only be scanned on TV, the code does not work when watching on YouTube.

Burger King added that there would be only 10,000 free Whoppers.
