The debut of the legendary fantasy series The Wheel of Time will be supported by a live-action 3D illusion developed by Amplify and starring series actress Rosamund Pike on Prime Video. It is the first time an entertainment firm has employed an anamorphic billboard to promote a series.
In the illusion, we watch an epic struggle between the 'Light' - Pike's character Moraine, of the all-female Aes Sedai - and the 'Dark,' commander of the dark army, as the two appear to break out of the screen and into our reality. The iconic figure of the Great Serpent connects the content's story.
On November 15, Amazon Prime Video will premiere the deception in Piccadilly Circus in London. It will also be seen in landmark locations in significant markets, such as New York City's Big Kahuna in Times Square and Tokyo's Cross Shinjuku Vision.
